Dell Inc., in the past PC's Limited (1984–88) and Dell Computer Corporation (1988–2003), worldwide organization that plans, creates, and fabricates (PCs) and an assortment of PC related items. The organization is one of the world's driving providers of PCs. Dell is headquartered in Round Rock, Texas.
In the mid 21st century Dell extended its product offering to incorporate TVs, computerized cameras, and an assortment of PC related items. In 2003 the organization was renamed Dell Inc. to connote a move into the more extensive shopper hardware showcase.
In 2016 the organization and a speculation firm procured EMC, an American enterprise that had practical experience in information stockpiling. The merger, esteemed at around $60 billion, was the biggest innovation bargain at the time.
