KEF LS50 Wireless II: 2026 price, sales and cheaper KEF options
The KEF LS50 Wireless II lists at $2,999.99 a pair on KEF's US store in October 2026, $500 more than its 2020 launch price. KEF has cut it to about $1,999 during past holiday events, and the LSX II LT at $999.99 is the cheapest pair in the same wireless family.

LS50 Wireless or LS50 Wireless II: which one is on sale now
The original KEF LS50 Wireless, the powered speaker this page first covered, has been replaced. KEF launched the LS50 Wireless II in September 2020, and TechRadar's review gives the launch price as $2,499. On Oct 18, 2026, the KEF US product page sells only the Wireless II, in Carbon Black, Mineral White, Sand Shell and Moss Green. The Carbon Black finish was marked as on backorder at the time of checking.
Listings for the first LS50 Wireless still turn up on the used market. Its figures from the old version of this page, such as a 192 kHz/24-bit signal path, belong to that older model, not to the Wireless II. If a listing does not say "II" or show the newer rear panel with an HDMI port, ask the seller which version it is.
What the LS50 Wireless II costs in October 2026
KEF's US store lists the LS50 Wireless II at $2,999.99 per pair in all four colors, with no sale price shown on Oct 18, 2026. The price has moved several times since launch:
| When | US price per pair | Source |
|---|---|---|
| September 2020 launch | $2,499 | TechRadar review |
| Before January 2024 | $2,800 | Sound & Vision |
| January 2024 price cut | $2,499.99 | Sound & Vision |
| November 2025 regular price | $2,999 | Popular Science, Nov 13, 2025 |
| Oct 18, 2026 | $2,999.99 | KEF US store |
KEF announced price increases linked to US tariffs with an effective date of May 5, 2025, according to ChannelNews, and said a large part of its range is made in China. That report focused on Australia and did not list US figures for this model, so the exact date of the US move to $2,999 is not confirmed here.

When KEF puts the LS50 Wireless II on sale
The clearest pattern is the run-up to Black Friday. During KEF's Holiday Savings Event, Popular Science reported on Nov 13, 2025 that the LS50 Wireless II was $1,999 a pair, down from $2,999. The same event cut the passive LS50 Meta to $1,199 a pair from $1,599 and the Kube 15 MIE subwoofer to $999 from $1,499.
KEF has also run smaller sales outside the holidays. Digital Trends reported a February 2025 KEF sale with the pair at about $2,000 against a $2,500 list price, which was the regular price at that time.
- Best time to buy: mid-November through Cyber Monday, based on the last two years of coverage.
- Second chance: late winter sales, which have been shorter and less predictable.
- Outside those windows: expect the full list price on KEF's own store.
No sale price was shown on KEF's US store at the time of checking (Oct 2026). A past discount is not a promise that the next event will match it.
Buying from KEF, B&H or Adorama
KEF sells direct through its US store, and camera and audio dealers such as B&H Photo and Adorama also list KEF speakers. The B&H and Adorama pages returned an access error during the check, so their October 2026 prices are not confirmed here. Before buying from any dealer, compare its price with the $2,999.99 KEF list price and check three things:
- Seller: the item should be sold by the store itself, not by a marketplace seller on its site.
- Condition: open-box pairs are sometimes listed below the new price. Ask whether the full KEF warranty applies.
- Returns: KEF's own US return policy allows a refund within 30 days of receipt, less shipping and handling charges, after you get a Return Authorization number from customer service. The box, packing and accessories must be complete.
PickedBox keeps store pages for B&H Photo and Adorama, where any current codes and deals for those stores are listed. Check that a store offer covers audio before counting on it, since many dealer codes exclude certain brands.
Cheaper KEF wireless speakers and their prices
Prices below were shown on KEF's US store on Oct 18, 2026. All are wireless powered models except the LS50 Meta, which is a passive speaker that needs a separate amplifier.
| Model | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| KEF Muo | $249.99 | Small Bluetooth speaker, not a stereo pair |
| KEF LSX II LT | $999.99 per pair | Smallest pair in the LS wireless range |
| KEF Coda W | $999.99 | Phono input, Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Lossless, HDMI |
| KEF LSX II | $1,499.99 per pair | Compact pair, more features than the LT |
| KEF LS50 Meta | $1,599.99 per pair | Passive, amplifier sold separately |
| KEF LS50 Wireless II | $2,999.99 per pair | The model this page covers |
| KEF LS60 Wireless | $5,999.99 per pair | Floorstanding step-up |
The LSX II LT is the closest budget match. KEF says it shares the Uni-Q driver array and Music Integrity Engine of the LSX II, and its cabinet measures 9.5 x 6.1 x 7.1 in, against 12 x 7.9 x 12.2 in for the LS50 Wireless II. A smaller box usually means less bass, so a KEF subwoofer may be worth budgeting for with either LSX model.

LS50 Wireless II specs that affect the price
Much of the higher price buys features that remove other boxes from a system. According to KEF's specification sheet:
- Drivers: a Uni-Q array with a 5.25 in aluminium cone and a 1 in vented aluminium dome tweeter with Metamaterial Absorption Technology.
- Frequency response: 45 Hz to 28 kHz (plus or minus 3 dB), with a maximum output of 108 dB at 1 m.
- Inputs: HDMI eARC, optical, coaxial, 3.5 mm analog and Ethernet, plus a subwoofer output.
- Streaming: AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Roon Ready, UPnP and Bluetooth 5.0, with files up to 24-bit/384 kHz, MQA and DSD.
- Size: 12 x 7.9 x 12.2 in per speaker.
The amplifiers are built in, so no receiver is needed, and the HDMI eARC port lets the pair work as TV speakers.
Who the LS50 Wireless II is for
The LS50 Wireless II suits a buyer who wants one pair of speakers for streaming, a TV and possibly a turntable with a phono preamp, without a separate amplifier. A buyer who mostly listens at a desk or in a small room can spend about a third as much on the LSX II LT. A buyer who already owns a good amplifier can look at the passive LS50 Meta instead. For any of these, the November holiday event has been the time when KEF's own prices drop the most.

How we checked this
On Oct 18, 2026, PickedBox checked the LS50 Wireless II price, colors, stock note and specifications on the KEF US product page, the prices of other KEF models in the same store, and KEF's US return policy. Past sale prices come from Popular Science (Nov 13, 2025) and Digital Trends (February 2025); earlier list prices come from TechRadar and Sound & Vision. The Sound & Vision and Digital Trends pages and the B&H and Adorama product pages could not be loaded during the check, so those figures were taken from search result summaries and dealer prices are not given. No speakers were handled for this page.
